Forth Celtic AFC

Nestling in the scenic surrounds of Bargycommons a few miles outside Wexford town, Forth Celtic’s roots stretch back to 1972 when a group of local men started the club

From very modest beginnings playing matches at Johnstown castle to current state of the art facilities the club has gone from strength to strength every year.

The club have invested strategically over the years and can now boast two grass pitches, a 9v9 astro turf and a new clubhouse

The club has developed a very strong underage contingent of 280 children and over 60 adults making the club one of the largest in county Wexford.

Forth Celtic’s underage set up for both boys and girls has been a huge success with numbers growing significantly every year.

The club have three men’s teams, two youth teams, under 19 girls team and a strong ladies team.

Forth Celtic AFC is run exclusively by a team of over 30 coaches, volunteers and helpers who give up their time on a daily basis to help the next Ronaldo or Messi along the path to stardom!!

Forth Celtic currently caters for over 25 teams of which the vast majority are underage children’s teams. On any given weekday evening the club is a hive of activity with the sound of happy kids training hard.
