Forth Celtic AFC is continuing to deal with a range of challenges caused by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and would like to update supporters on the progress that has been made to date.
While our priority from the outset has been to focus primarily on the health and wellbeing of our players, staff, parents and local community, the club has also committed to playing as full a role as possible in the FAI’s ongoing response to the crisis.
Forth Celtic are increasingly concerned about the recent surge in the virus in the community and are committed to remaining open for as long as is possible for the positive mental health benefits to our members.
To enable us to continue we will however have to initiate a strict compliance with guidelines and in particular the non contact element and 15min separation between training slots. Strength and conditioning, and activities without use of footballs will be the only activities allowed until conditions allow us to return to more comprehensive training. We are aware that this is not ideal but feel it is the only avenue available to us in the current climate. We will keep matters under constant review to ensure the safety of all.
